In September 2008 we merged with like-minded companies, Audio Excellence and Practical Hi-Fi to form the Audio T Group. Now with 23 physical stores and our online store we are able to offer our goods and services to customers across the United Kingdom.

We are happy to mail order most products that we sell, only excluding some Acoustic Energy models, Arcam, B&W, Cyrus, KEF, Linn, NAD, Naim, Quad, Rega, Rotel, some Wharfedale models and those that require special installation and setting up, and those whose manufacturers have asked us not to. We can give you advice and technical support over the phone and you can pay us by cheque (in which case we need to clear it) or credit card (in which case we need to send you a form to sign) or PayPal and we will insure and dispatch the goods for a small fee.

We offer interest free credit (0% APR) on selected items and flexible credit facilities for those of you wanting a longer pay back period. (subject to status, written details on request).

We allow you to change goods you have bought within 14 days (for something of equal or greater value) if you are not satisfied, provided that they are in perfect condition and are returned complete with all packing and instructions (excluding clearance items). Subject to the same rules we'll give you a refund if our advice has led you to buy something unsatisfactory. In this way you can be sure you’ll be delighted with your purchase – which is what we want.

We allow you to upgrade to something better for up to 30 days, again at no cost penalty and subject to the rules above.(This excludes any items ordered specifically on your behalf.)

All our shops have single speaker demonstration rooms and all but Basingstoke and Worcester have a separate Home Cinema studio as well. Here you can listen in peace and without interruption, on your own if you prefer. Don't even think about buying from a shop without these facilities.

We are authorised by manufacturers to sell all the products we stock. This means we have factory trained staff who know what they're talking about, we can buy at and pass on to you the best possible prices and we can repair or replace items quickly if they go wrong. Avoid at all costs shops who pretend they are dealers but actually just source products from a third party. They may not know much about the products and may not be able to sort out any problems properly.

The rules for mail order apply equally to export except that the carriage and insurance is chargeable to you. We only export on a personal basis for your own use.

We offer an inclusive 3 year guarantee on all new hi-fi and home cinema separates*, the first 2 years of which are transferable to another BADA dealer should you move. Style systems carry a two year guarantee. Everything else, including DVD/Blu-ray players and display devices, carries the manufacturer’s guarantee and most of them now offer two years. To back this up, we offer you an after sales service you can count on. Not only to repair anything that might go wrong but also to answer on-going technical queries or to call round if there’s a problem you can’t sort out yourself (subject to distance).

We are founder members of the British Audio-Visual Dealers Association comprising over 70 independent shops committed to high standards of demonstration, advice and service.

We are answerable to its internal conciliation service and offer its Transferable Guarantee which allows you to transfer your guarantee rights to another BADA member if you move over 30 miles. In these days of increasing mobility it's nice to know that BADA dealers offer nationwide skilled help.

We try to give you what you want. We're as friendly and un-intimidating as we can be, and we can arrange home loans of equipment (subject to status) and home dems if a mutually agreeable time can be arranged. We send you regular mailings to keep you up to date (or not if you want) and we will install equipment if required. We can make up leads for you, we can check your stylus for free, and we can clean your records for a small charge. We can also provide insurance quotes, system tests and reinstallation.
